MEET JOHN
Lieutenant John Wega is a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 11 years of service at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Having risen through the ranks from Deputy to Operations Lieutenant, Wega brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of community needs. A U.S. Coast Guard Academy alumnus and graduate of the University of Maryland, Wega is also a certified Pennsylvania Deputy Sheriff and a 2014 graduate of the PA Sheriff Academy.
Throughout his career, Wega has remained committed to public service, integrity, and community engagement. As a candidate for Sheriff, he is focused on enhancing public safety, supporting law enforcement personnel, and building stronger relationships across Adams County. With a vision for transparency, training, and trust, Lieutenant Wega is ready to lead the Sheriff’s Office into the future.
